Frequently asked questions.

Answers to common questions about our approach, visits, pricing and insurance. Still curious? We're happy to help.

What is holistic psychiatry?+
Holistic psychiatry integrates psychotherapy with attention to the whole body — nutrition, gut health, metabolism, sleep and stress physiology — to care for the whole person rather than symptoms in isolation.
How is Sphosh Health different from regular therapy?+
Many clinics focus on either psychotherapy or holistic care. We integrate both within one cohesive model, so your therapy, medical insight and lifestyle support all work together — depth without fragmentation.
What does the first visit involve?+
The initial visit is a comprehensive, integrated intake covering your psychological, medical, nutritional and lifestyle picture, so we can build an individualized plan.
How much do visits cost?+
The initial visit is $595 and follow-up visits are $450. We also accept several insurance plans (see below).
Which insurance do you accept?+
We accept Premera, Regence, BlueCross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and Kaiser PPO. Contact us to confirm coverage for your specific plan.
Do you offer virtual appointments?+
Yes. We offer both in-person appointments at our Bellevue, WA office and virtual visits.
Do I need a diagnosis to book?+
No. You don't need to know what to call it — we begin with how you're feeling and build care from there.
Are the products required?+
No. When appropriate, care may include supportive products that align with your plan, but they are optional and never a substitute for professional treatment.
